About Us

I've been employed in the rural internet field for 14 years as an independent dealer/installer. I formed Desmond Technology for that purpose in 2008. Currently I am subcontracted to Xplore for the majority of my work, but I've branched out into other areas of specialty as well. 

Connectivity monitoring for Solar Sites, remote building monitoring, security cameras, cellphone boosters and custom cable systems are other areas of rural internet that I have found are needed and required for my customers.

 I'm proud to work locally, for my community and for my neighbors.

I had a "desk job" in the I.T industry for 8 years as a network specialist for organizations in the Kingston area. My education is as a graduate of St. Lawrence College in Kingston as an Electronics Technologist. I'm also a member of OACET
